Gooderstone were in trouble at 71 for 7 with Kevin Fisher 4 for 44 and Aseem Sharma 3 for 36 amongst the wickets. Ollie Mowles 53 picked a great time to score his maiden fifty as his innings helped lift Gooderstone to 166 all out.
Kevin Bandy bowled a miserly spell of 10-5-14-2 to restrict the Hospital scoring before Mark Chalkley 3 for 20 kept the pressure on which eventually resulted in wickets falling regularly as Hospital were bowled out for 103 with AMBiT Projects MoM being awarded to Lijo George for his all-round contribution.
Good contributions by Dean Wall 40, Sam Molyneux 49, Daniel Cross 31 and Tom Brown 30 helped Castle Acre reach 217 all out with Bethan Cornell taking 5 for 48 for Fakenham 3rds.
Oscar Cambell scored 26 but after that Michael Edwards stole the show with impressive bowling figures of 9-5-10-7 to bowl out Fakenham 3rds for 81 to secure victory by 136 runs.
It was good to see Downham 3rds take to the field with Gary Hooker unbeaten on 69 in their total of 140 for 6. Matthew Coe scored an unbeaten 86 as Narborough A went on to win by nine wickets.
Mark Spillett top scored with 63 as Holt reached 129 for 8 in their 45 overs with Adi Nicol taking 4 for 15.
Robin Thaxter had excellent figures of 10-5-10-3 with Liam Chanel taking 3 for 26 to successfully defend their total against Sandringham A who were dismissed for 79 for a 50-run victory.
In a run fest at Snettisham, the home side scored 232 all out with 61 from Danny Suckling and 60 from Connor Grief. Olly Southgate took 3 for 39.
Dersingham A were up to the task thanks mainly to 120 from opener Jamie White as they secured victory by three wickets in the 44th over.
That win took them to within 17 points of Bircham A with a game in hand.
A 99-run partnership for the second wicket between Paul Brown 77 and Dinesh Ratnasingham 61 helped Bircham reach 208-8 in their 45 overs.
In reply Swaffham A reached 150 all out with Josh Joacham scoring 37. Shane Rowe took 3 for 34 and Paul Brown 3 for 23 in securing their 58-run victory.
M Wardle took 6 for 40 and was well supported by Richard Simpson 10-5-14-3 as Gayton were bowled out for 133. Denver A went on to record a seven-wicket victory with 47 from Dave Robinson and an unbeaten 49 from Tom Gilbert.
Kesh Bouri top scored with 34 in Castle Rising A’s total of 157 for 9 with Neil Farrow taking 3-37. ‘Chunky’ Wilson took 4-6 and M Harrowing 3-22 as Gooderstone A were bowled out for 71 for an 86-run victory.
