Hunstanton Bowls Club

Paul Hunter, Bob Bone and Ryan Anderson came out on top of the Hunstanton Bowls Club, Cromer Road, Open Triples Tournament on Sunday.

They beat Frank Howard, Chris Wright and Debra Wright from St. Lawrence Bowls Club in a closely contested final. In third place were Danny Cawthorn, Shannon Tucker and Lesley O’Hanlo. Some 30 bowlers from various clubs took part and enjoyed a day of bowls and a very enjoyable ploughman’s lunch.

Three Counties’ Hannah PB’s in the Heat!

A good week had by all at Three Counties Running Club.

This week saw Three Counties members Hannah Chown and Emma Sutton running 5K Race for Life in Tuesdays scorching heat. Determined, the heat didn’t stop them with both ladies finishing in fantastic times. Emma managed to raise just over £,1000 for two charities, which is a fantastic achievement as she only started running in January.

Sunny Saturday saw members attend the very popular Parkruns even in the hotness the weather had to offer. Colin and Sue flying the Three Counties flag at the Markeaton Parkrun in Derby with Sue finishing first in her age category and ten members completing the King’s Lynn Parkrun, a couple of members finishing with PB’s.
