Springside is the only KLAA venue which is open, until the new season which kicks off tomorrow.
Carp to 14lb have been reported whilst using the method feeder when presenting small yellow boillies on the hook. Yellow baits continue to find the carp which have been feeding.
A brace of perch, one 3lb 2oz, another 2lb 9oz has been reported, plenty of silvers now starting to feed when offering maggot on the hook when using either the whip or waggler.
KLAA 2017/18 permits are now available from local tackle shops.

l Another very good coarse fishing season draws to a close this weekend (March 31) at the Nar Valley Fisheries complex.
Fenn Lake has probably been the most consistent water, popping out quality carp to 37lb and Wels Catfish to 60lb 2oz; and this week has turned up a number of 20 pound-plus carp to finish off.
Lake Geneva has produced numerous 20 and 30 pound carp, with a few slipping over 40 throughout the season, and continues to do so to the end.
This week four 30lb-plus carp have been reported with the best a 35lb 8oz Mirror, backed up by plenty of double figure and 20lb fish. Tickets for the new season will be on sale at the beginning of April.
