King’s Lynn driver Kieran Bowman bids to regain the Entertainer’s League Stock Cars title with National Banger Racing heading to Adrian Flux Arena

Following a great start to the 2020 season from the Stock Cars the accent is very much on National Banger Racing at Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena on Saturday (March 14, 5pm) where four formulas are in action – the 2L Bangers, 1500cc Bangers, Junior Bangers and the return of the 1300 Stock Cars.

As with the Stock Car opener a fortnight ago Saturday’s meeting is also fully booked.

The 2L Bangers look like having a very strong showing from local drivers in 2020.

Kieran Bowman (pictured) will be looking to regain the Entertainer’s League this year. The 2018 champion missed out to London’s Taylor Sowter in 2019 but has already signalled that he will be looking to be involved heavily in the action in order to regain the top spot this year.

Other local drivers who will be racing in the 2L Bangers include Swaffham brothers Ashley and Terry Garrod, Wes Freestone, Chris Horton, Joel and Luke Allen and the always lively Ross Cooper.

It will be a busy day for both Bowman and Terry Garrod who are not only racing the 2L Bangers but will also be in action in the 1500cc Bangers.

Joining them in the lower cc class are newly crowned national points champion Callum Gill along with his father Russell Gill, Paul Lovick, Davey Cox, Ricky Garrod and Josh Baty.

Jake Banwell will be looking to get on the scoresheet in the 1300 Stock Cars but is likely to find the going tough along with the rest of the red tops with so many quick lower grade drivers in the formula at the moment.

Whilst there is a whole host of experience in the many adult formulas in action, one driver will be making her first-ever appearance on track: 14 year-old Ruby Moorse who will be making her debut in the Junior Bangers.
