North Runcton cricketers honoured after successful season

North Runcton Cricket Club completed a successful 2018 season with an awards evening for both junior and senior players.

On the playing front, the club had a positive season, winning the NACO cup and a Sunday League title.

Most satisfying was the integration of many of the club's junior players into the senior weekend sides.

Junior awards went to Liam Olley, David Colville and Arron Minister, while senior accolades were picked up by Jack Major, George Rawlings, Nick Freeman, Tim Coote, Harvey Cross, Olly Simpson and Alex Pigott.

North Runcton head coach Joshy Ring was named as the ECB Young Coach of the Year. This is a particularly prestigious award and is a reflection of all the hard work Ring has done for cricket in West Norfolk. The club will host their AGM on Friday, November 16, from 7pm. New players, supporters and volunteers are made welcome.
