Ring runs the thriving youth section at the club, organising coaching over the winter months as well as the summer outdoor programme and taking responsibility for under-11, under-13, under-15 and under-19 teams.

Three of the club’s talented youth players, Lucas Triffitt, Phoenix Sherry and Sri Sivaraman have once again been selected by the Norfolk Cricket Board this year to represent the County in the U14 team for the 2019 season.

The club wish them every success in representing the county.

A priority for 2019 is the development of girls’ cricket at Runcton, which the club sees as an essential part of the future of the sport and North Runcton Cricket Club itself.

Meanwhile, North Runcton Cricket Club winter junior training nets for 8 to 15-year-olds are being held at KES Sports Hall on Saturdays between 10am and midday until March 16. The cost is £5 per session.

Senior training sessions will be held at KES Sports Hall on February 24, March 10 and March 24 from 1pm to 3pm.

New players welcome to junior and senior sessions.
