Goals galore in Division One of the North West Norfolk Football League
All teams playing in Saturday’s North West Norfolk Football League Division One fixtures were amongst the goals.
This season’s leagues are developing into the most closely competed in recent years and 2019/20 league cup winners, Snettisham, continued their return to winning ways with an impressive 5-1 victory away to Denver.
Danny Jezeph proved to be the difference as he added four goals to his season’s total.
League leaders KLSC FC avenged their cup final defeat against Marshland Saints with a 4-1 victory.
Thomas Wagg took his league season total to ten for the campaign by scoring all four goals for the West Lynn-based side.
Finally, Dersingham Reserves claimed their first three points of the season with a 2-1 home success over Birchwood; Curtis Sharpe and Joe Collison scoring their goals.
Meanwhile, Upwell Town’s unbeaten start to the season came to an abrupt end as they went down 5-1 to a clinical Docking Rangers side, with Ashley Woodhouse collecting a hat-trick and Michael Wood scoring twice.
Terrington picked up their first win of the season since dropping down into Division Two.
They overcame an AFC Lynn Napier Reserves team 4-1, with Archie Bobbins and Thomas Stone amongst the scorers for the Tigers.
A red card for Harry Morton didn’t prevent Watlington from losing top spot as they ran out 3-1 winners over Ingoldisthorpe.
There was also victories for Clenchwarton and Heacham Social Club as they beat Castle Rising and West Winch respectively.
The big scorers in Division Three came in the shape of league leaders, Watlington Reserves.
They travelled to Hungate Rovers and came away 9-0 winners, Elliot McDonald and Luke Venny both collecting a hat-trick.
Liam Sibbons was the match-winner with two goals for Hunstanton as they beat Terrington Reserves 2-1.
Weeting Saxons got back to winning ways as a James Langley treble helped them secure a 5-1 victory at The Woottons; Jake Mott and Tim Waller also grabbing a goal each.
Elsewhere, Reffley Reserves and Marshland Saints Reserves came out on top in their games with West Winch Reserves and Ingoldisthorpe Reserves respectively.
