Swaffham Town make their point at home to Stanway Pegasus in Thurlow Nunn First Division North




Swaffham Town picked up a well-deserved point against high-flying Stanway Pegasus in the Thurlow Nunn First Division North at the weekend.

Both goals in the Thurlow Nunn fixture came from the penalty spot in the second half.

Captain, Kieran Bruce with a clinical finish in the 65th minute, the visitors levelling ten minutes later, man-of-the-match Ryan Hemmings going the right way but unable to get anything on the shot.

A slow start with the Pedlars going ahead in the first half through a converted Craig Titmarsh penalty.

The second half saw an avalanche of goals, Titmarsh with his second, Blake Davies and Harry Exley with two a-piece and Ashley Rowland with the seventh.

They will travel to meet Costessey Sports United in the quarter-finals.
