On a beautiful sunny, cloudless day and perfect conditions for golf, 112 ladies from 24 different clubs came to Lynn Golf Club to play in the Ladies Annual Open Day.

At the end of the day scores were very tight with a team from Barnham Broom/Costessey Park leading with 87 points.

However, they were to be disappointed when the last team in from Gog Magog Golf Club came in with 88 points and pipped them at the post.

Play was followed by a cold buffet meal and the presentation of prizes to the winning first five teams by Ladies Captain Anita Goddard.

Despite not scoring very well, Li teed off first on the 16th and stroked the ball really well with a seven-iron high toward the hole, one bounce and then straight into the hole.

Li thanked his playing partners, the Monday morning roll-up group and Jeremy Allen for sponsoring Lynn Golf Club’s hole-in-ones with celebrations at the clubhouse.
