Pelicans Hockey Club hosts Quicksticks hockey tournament.




Lifelong Pelicans player, coach and volunteer Tracy Bower led the hosting of this year’s Quicksticks hockey tournament.

A big congratulations to the 30 school teams from in and around West Norfolk who took part in the festival, which was hosted by Pelicans Hockey Club.

Ten teams competed in the cup competition, with Glebe House being crowned overall champions and Terrington St Clements runners-up, Sandringham third and Dersingham fourth.

Other teams in the cup were Snettisham, Gayton, St Michaels, Marshland St James and South Wootton.

Twenty teams took part in a development festival involving coached non-scoring games throughout the day.

A massive thank you goes to the senior club members who supported on the day and a team of young umpires who officiated and coached all of the games.
