West Norfolk youngster tastes success at Unity World Games World Championships
Rory Sewell has enjoyed success at the Unity World Games World Championships.
The youngster, a 2nd dan black belt from East Coast Premier Martial Arts in Hunstanton, won a gold medal in kata and a silver medal in traditional weapons kata.
Sewell, 15, trains in kickboxing and grav maga as well as a traditional Korean form of karate tang soo do.
He followed this up with three silver medals at the International Tang Soo Do Championships earlier this month in kata, traditional weapons and sparring. This was a tough event with competitors from across Europe presided over by 9th Dan Grandmaster Dominique Giacobbe.
Sewell is looking forward to the Christmas break whilst preparing for a busy 2020, which includes his GCSEs and as a guest demonstrator at the UK Martial Arts Show 2020.
