West Norfolk driver claims two top-eight finishes

West Norfolk driver Phil Wright finished this year’s Civic Cup campaign with two eighth-place finishes in the pouring rain at Donington Park.

At the start of his second outing, visibility was very poor and several cars left the track.

The safety car was deployed but despite this Wright still managed another eighth-place finish.

Snettisham’s Wright will return to action competing for the title of the Civic Cup in 2019, with dates and venue to be announced in the near future.
