King’s Lynn announces Niels Kristian Iversen testimonial for 2025

King's Lynn favourite Niels-Kristian Iversen will stage a Testimonial meeting as the opening speedway event of 2025 at the Adrian Flux Arena.

Iversen’s meeting takes place on Sunday March 16 with a 3pm start, and as things stand it is scheduled to be the first of any kind in the UK next season.

The Dane, who first rode for the club way back in 2001 with his extensive service to the PSH Environmental Stars starting a decade later, was in fact granted a Testimonial over four years ago.

However, various delays including the pandemic and a brief time out of British racing for Iversen led to the event being held over.

Rider announcements and news on the format of the meeting will take place in the New Year.

Meanwhile, Stars captain Nicolai Klindt, who was awarded a Testimonial earlier this winter, has kindly agreed to defer his own event given the time that Iversen has waited already, and Klindt’s meeting will therefore take place in 2026.
