King's Lynn Stars boss wary of Sheffield's top end power

Stars boss Alex Brady is wary of tomorrow night's visitors Sheffield Tigers as King's Lynn plot a miraculous route to the Premiership play-offs.

Brady is aware Sheffield have some top riders, including Dersingham-based Stars stalwart Lewis Kerr who the club recently released from their one to seven.

Tobiasz Musielak has gone up to number one and Jack Holder is at five, so the Tigers have top end power and the Minors & Brady Stars must be at their best to emerge triumphant at the Adrian Flux Arena.

Brady said: “And of course obviously Lewi as well, who will be coming back to try and prove a point, I'm sure.

“We’re going to have to be a lot better than we were tonight (versus Peterborough), I'm sure, to get the result we want, but I think with Thomas (Jorgensen) back and everyone else as well I think we’ll be a lot stronger and I’m confident.

“Do what we can do and if everyone gets behind us again like they have been doing, I'm sure we’ll do the right job."

Lynn will be without recent signing Frederik Jakobsen when Sheffield visit.

The Dane crashed in Sweden on Tuesday when racing for Dackarna, and whilst hospital x-rays thankfully revealed no broken bones, he is extremely sore and has pulled out of bookings in Denmark and the UK this week, with the situation to be re-assessed after the weekend.

The Minors & Brady Stars do welcome back Thomas Jorgensen from illness and Jack Thomas into the Rising Star berth following his successful dry run as number eight in last week's 46-44 victory over Peterborough.
