Czech charger awarded spot in 2025 Speedway GP Series
King's Lynn racer Jan Kvech has been awarded a place back in the Speedway Grand Prix series for 2025.
Kvech, who was a hugely successful signing for the PSH Environmental Stars this year, completed his debut GP campaign with a semi-final appearance after a great display at Torun last month.
And now the SGP Commission have confirmed the Czech Republic charger as one of four nominated riders to complete next season's line-up.
Also on that list is former Stars rider Kai Huckenbeck along with World Champion Jason Doyle, whose season came to an end in a freak crash at the Adrian Flux Arena which caused him to miss eight rounds of the series this year after he had made a terrific start.
Former Stars favourite Robert Lambert had already guaranteed his place with a runners-up finish overall, and next year he will look to go one better in a bid to break the domination of World Champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, whilst another ex-Lynn rider Andzejs Lebedevs secured his spot by winning the Speedway Euro Championship.
Two of next season's ten rounds will take place in the UK with Belle Vue staging a GP for the first time on June 14, with the traditional visit to Cardiff taking place on August 16.
