King’s Lynn striker who played for former Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney at Derby signs for Spalding United in the Southern League Central

King's Lynn Town striker Bartosz Cybulski has left the club to sign for Spalding United.

Cybulski has joined the Southern League Central Tulips for an undisclosed fee after struggling to win a regular starting place at the Walks this season.

The Polish frontman made 45 appearances for the Linnets, 18 of which came from the bench, scoring nine goals.

Cybulski, who played under former England and Manchester United player Wayne Rooney at Derby County, was part of the AFC Fylde squad that won promotion from the National League North.

His departure leaves Linnets boss Adam Lakeland short of options in attack with Jonny Margetts currently ruled out for the best part of three months with a serious back injury.
