Swaffham team taste success in Aldis Park open triples
Teenage bowling ace Nicole Moseley, 17, and her Swaffham team tasted success at the Aldis Park open triples during the weekend.
Joined by her dad Mo Moseley and Keith Brand, the trio only lost one game all day and proceeded to the final were they emerged as resounding 9-1 winners.
There were 21 teams on the day and the event was played in a round-robin format with an open draw for the semi-finals.
Lynnsport Indoor Bowls Club member Nicole has a busy few weeks on the horizon.
On Saturday week, the youngster will travel to Leamington for the Sutton Winston tournament, where she successfully reached the semi-finals last season.
The West Norfolk teenager will be back in Warwickshire at the end of August where she will represent Norfolk in the Amy Rose competition at the same venue.
n Shouldham Bowls Club will play host to the Dave Camp Memorial Trophy on Sunday, August 11.
Six-a-side, there will be competitions in singles, pairs and triples with the cost £30 a team.
There will be a barbecue, tea, coffee and cakes and the bar will also be open.
A start time will be advised once all entries have been received.
