Dersingham regrouped and held out till half-time.

Dersingham started the second half with more determination and put Terrington under pressure, but, as the game neared the end, the Dersingham team tired and could not break through the Terrington defence.

Terrington were a mixture of some experienced players and youth, and the consensus is that, if this team had played together all season, they would have won the league.

Dersingham's squad had been through a tough season and gave 100 per cent in the final but, along with injuries to key players, could not get over the line.

Dersingham's Man of the Match was the battling defender, Tom Wicklen and Terrington named Joe Jackson as theirs.
