Republic of Ireland youth international signs for King's Lynn Town from Norwich City
King's Lynn Town have strengthened their squad with the signing of a Republic of Ireland youth international.
The Linnets have swooped to take Norwich City youngster Simon Power on loan for the rest of the National League North campaign.
Power said: "I'm really looking forward to this challenge. The news only came out a week ago that I'd be joining King's Lynn and obviously they are sitting top of the league.
"There's a big game coming up Saturday, which I'm hoping to be involved in, and I can't wait to get going.
"I just want to be playing games at the moment and hopefully I'll get my chance here at King's Lynn.
"My main attribute is my pace and I feel I can cause a lot of problems to defenders in this league."
Power, who possesses electrifying pace, joined Scottish Premiership side Ross County in the summer and made four appearances for the Staggies before returning to his parent club last week.
The 21-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with FC Dordrecht in the Eerste Divisie in the Netherlands.
The winger, who signed a new Carrow Road deal earlier this year, has yet to make a senior appearance for Norwich since moving from Irish side UCD in 2018.
Power joined up with the remainder of the Lynn squad at training last night.
