Fenland club among huge field of 13,000 runners at Cambridge Half Marathon

Three Counties Running Club members were among a huge field of 13,000 runners as athletes took part in the TTP Cambridge Half Marathon which is a lovely event.

The start and finish as always for this event is at Midsummer Common but this year there was a slight change to the route.

The route, as in 2023 went through Kings and Jesus College and for 2024 the introduction of St John’s and Trinity College before heading out to the picturesque villages of Grantchester and Trumpington.

It was an early start for the runners, volunteers and spectators due to most of the roads being closed on the race route.

The morning started cold but turned into a lovely sunny spring morning with no wind which was ideal for all competitors.

TCRC members all had fantastic runs and support of club members who had also volunteered to help on the day.
