King's Lynn Alive gymnasts reach national finals at East Region Prelims at Salto Gymnastics Club, Luton

Alive Gymnastics Lynn Elite tumbling squad grabbed national final spots at the East Region Tumbling Prelims at Salto Gymnastics Club in Luton on Sunday.

This was the first competition these gymnasts have attended since returning to training after the Covid lockdowns and their results did not disappoint.

In total the team won five medals and had three gymnasts qualify for the national finals, to be held in Sheffield on September 3 and 4.

Alfie Jones first place, Kaden Underwood first place and Daniel Gabriel-Malheiro second all secured a place at national finals. Other results: Harrison Lynn third place, Chloe Wright third and Meisha Underwood fourth, narrowly missing a medal by only 0.4!

Head coach Jimmy Xu said: “I am so proud of how well these gymnasts performed at the competition. They have worked so hard for this, and it has paid off!

"We have an amazing team of coaches at Alive Lynnsport, and I would like to thank them all for the effort they have put in to ensure these gymnasts were ready for this.”
