The King’s Lynn Young Stars have been boosted with the news that national tile merchant, Tile Giant will continue to sponsor the National League team in 2016.

Young Stars manager Dale Allitt said: “We are delighted that Tile Giant are back on board with the team this year. Their sponsorship helps the development of our riders and it is a real boost ahead of the season.”

The 2016 Young Stars will display the Tile Giant logo on the front of their bikes during their league campaign as well as being on the race jackets and team wear.

Regional business manager for Tile Giant Central East region, Paul Hammond, commented: “After sponsoring the King’s Lynn Young Stars last year it was an easy decision to continue the sponsorship into the 2016 season. Being a speedway fan it was a pleasure to watch the Young Stars develop and progress last season.

“National League speedway is an important stepping stone for the sport in the way it develops young riders to progress into the Premier League and hopefully into the Elite League Fast Track Draft.

“The Young Stars team that Dale (Allitt) has put together this year, with the inclusion of the young exciting rider Nathan Greaves shows that the club is ambitious, with the determination to improve on last season.”

The Young Stars will have a chance to warm up for the season with a challenge match at Kent’s Central Park Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday, March 28.

One stand out fixture at the Adrian Flux Arena this year is the National League Best Pairs meeting, which will take place on Saturday, August 27. The club hosted the event last year and it was a massive success.
