Downham travel to FA Cup heroes Maldon and Tiptree, while Fakenham head to Lakenheath and Heacham travel to Stowmarket

Downham Town face their toughest test of the season so far when they travel to second-placed Maldon and Tiptree in the Isthmian League North tomorrow.

Maldon and Tiptree have only lost one game all season, while Downham Town have lost their last three and slipped back in the relegation places.

Downham boss Dale Stokes will be hoping that the Jammers have one eye on next weekend's FA Cup First Round Proper trip to Port Vale.

In the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division, both Fakenham Town and Heacham also face away fixtures.

The Ghosts travel to Lakenheath and the Magpies make the trip to Stowmarket Town.

Having started the campaign so well, Andy Cunningham’s side will be out to get their season back on track after successive league defeats against Ely City and Yarmouth Town.

On Tuesday night, Fakenham claimed the bragging rights with a narrow 1-0 victory over Heacham in the League Challenge Cup.

Paul Hunt's young Heacham side gave a good account of themselves, but were undone by a goal from Joe Keeley for the hosts in the first half.

A positive result for Heacham in Suffolk could see them climb out of the bottom three of the league standings.
