A racing masterclass from King’s Lynn Roger Warnes Transport Stars number one Niels-Kristian Iversen ensured three league points over Coventry on Wednesday with a 54-35 win.
Victory means that the Stars, who remain unbeaten at home at the Adrian Flux Arena, have edged closer to securing their place in the 2015 Elite League playoffs, with just six points needed to reach the latter stages.
Iversen (pictured) and star guest Freddie Lindgren, who managed 12 paid 13 points, ended the meeting with a 5-1 to round of a good night for Rob Lyon’s men.
The win was an all-round solid display with Kenneth Bjerre (9+2), guest Adam Ellis (7) and Nicklas Porsing (5+1) all scoring well in the win.
The Stars will travel to Swindon tonight (Thursday) aiming for more Elite League points.
