Weekend’s senior football fixtures





King’s Lynn Town round off a tumultuous season when they visit Spennymoor Town for their last game of the National League North season on Saturday.

The Linnets flirted with relegation from early on and, after Mark Hughes was sacked in late September, former Curzon Ashton boss Adam Lakeland eventually steadied the ship.

Seventeenth-place Lynn go into the fixture against their ninth-place opponents five points above the relegation area, with Lakeland predicting better things to come next term.

In the Eastern Counties League Premier Division, Downham are at strugglers Long Melford on Saturday after losing 2-1 at home to to Woodbridge Town on Wednesday evening, Artur Visocanskis scoring.

Woodbridge now visit Fakenham Town, who pulled off an impressive 5-0 win at Hadleigh United on Tuesday evening, Jude Frostick and Jake Watts both netting twice, with Jayden Wright also on target.

Heacham were beaten 4-0 at Walsham Le Willows on Tuesday and they travel to fifth place Thetford Town on Saturday.

In the First Division North, Swaffham Town entertain high-flying Holland as they look to maintain the two-point gap between themselves and the relegation area with just three games remaining.
