Karting King Aaron clinches championship




West Norfolk karting king Aaron Alexander became exactly that after being crowned the Teesside 2018 Cadet Championship at the weekend.

Racing at the Teesside Autodrome Karting circuit, the teenage race ace and his AA racing team safely negotiated the final two rounds of the championship.

The King Edward VII Academy pupil was already ahead on the points table but he still needed to complete rounds eight and nine in the series.

He finished with two podiums on Saturday and Sunday to be crowned the Teesside 2018 Pro Extreme Honda Cadet Champion

Alexander, his racing team and family will travel to the Silverstone Kart Mania show on November 24 to be presented with his championship trophy and his prize.

Prior to that, the youngster will be in action at the final round of the Shenington Championship in Oxfordshire, which he is also currently leading, this weekend.

Alexander and his family team are moving up into junior Pro Karts in 2019 and need sponsorship deals set up.
