West Norfolk race ace wins third championship

It’s three down, one to go for West Norfolk karting ace Aaron Alexander after he clinched the SCSS Honda 200 Stretton Summer championship at the weekend.

Needing as many points as possible to win the crown at Leicester, Alexander qualified on pole, won all three of his heats and the final to bag a huge 172 points.

The teenager and his team have one more championship to wrap up this weekend in Cumbria at the Rowrah Circuit before his cadet kart will be sold.

His dad is now building next season’s Pro Kart (two 200cc race engines), with the first race to be at Teesside on December 27.
