West Norfolk race ace shows improvement at Kimbolton
Hudson Motorsport were at Kimbolton in Cambridgeshire for the second round of the Super 4 British Championship last weekend.
Saturday practice didn't go too well with braking issues hindering the team's progress and only managing one clean session out of the six.
This put them on the back foot for the following day's racing as they didn't have any time setting Marcus Hudson's kart up for the circuit.
In Heat One, the West Norfolk driver started 11th and made up a few places to finish ninth, a position he repeated in Heat Two.
They altered the set up of the kart slightly to help with the handling of the kart for heat three.
And this worked the oracle as Hudson managed to secure fourth place in the last heat more than five seconds ahead of fifth.
In the final he was battling for fifth spot, but unfortunately yellows flags were out after an incident in front of him and Hudson was forced to settle for sixth place come the end of the race after a top-five finish had looked possible.
Hudson Motorsport thanks sponsors Silkolene, Maxview, Studio 11 Architecture, Charmed Interiors, Foras, NGK Spark Plugs, EBC Brakes, Hair Styles, Listers BMW, Carter Haulage, Raymond and Ashley Hudson for their continued support this season.
