West Norfolk Swimming Club duo Freddie Laws, 17 and Molly Lee, 19, have been selected for a prestigious Pre-Olympic Trials Development Camp.
Run by Swim England East Region and being held at Loughborough, the camp takes place next week between Thursday and Saturday.
The breaststroke specialists will be staying in the new Elite Athletes hotel complex.
It will include pool sessions, various workshops, team activities and a learning experience with an international athlete.
Laws’ most recent successes came at the Norfolk Men’s County Championships where he became County Champion in all three of the breaststroke distances of 50 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres.
Meanwhile, Lee, enjoyed similar success, becoming women’s County Champion in the 50 metre and 200 metre events.
The camp is a pre-cursor for selected athletes ahead of the British Swimming Championships, which both have qualified for, and take place between April 14 and 19 at the London Aquatics Centre.
The event will double up as the selection event for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games as well as the European Senior and Junior Championship teams.
