West Norfolk race ace competing in the NKF Super 4 British 250 Championship
West Norfolk karting star Marcus Hudson is again competing in the NKF Super 4 British 250 Championship, which is the highest level of the sport in the UK.
The championship goes all over the UK as far north as Rowrah in Cumbria.
Hudson’s team, who have gained two sponsors for the new season, enjoyed an excellent start to the season last weekend with fifth in the first heat and, despite some handling issues in heat two, they managed fourth place.
In heat three, they started in 16th place, made a good start and finished in 7th.
For the final, Hudson lined up fifth on the grid and made a good start.
He found himself in third going down the straight, but got pushed off the circuit onto the grass and dropped to 12th, before eventually clawing back to eighth.
After the first round of the championship the team sit in fifth place in points. The next round takes place at Shennington, in Oxfordshire, on May 18-19.
Hudson Motorsport thank Foras and Charmed Interiors for coming on board with sponsorship.

Hudson has been racing karts since 1997 and has won numerous titles including the Woodthorpe Karting Championship, the British Grass Championship and Coningsby Grass Kart Champion East of England section.
