Championship at Ebbw Vale sports centre sees 400 competitors in attendance




Students from Wisbech & Kings Lynn Tang Soo Do martial arts club travelled to Wales to represent their club in the 2018 World Tang Soo Do Association Regional Championship.

The championship was held in Ebbw Vale at the sports centre.

There were around 400 competitors in attendance.

The students won a fantastic 13 trophies over four categories – weapons, forms, sparring and team forms.

Their achievements were: Oscar Gray – 2nd in weapons and 3rd in team forms.

Sophia Stanton – 1st in weapons and 2nd in forms.

Tracey Kym Gooch – 1st in forms, 3rd in sparring and 3rd in team forms.

Sebastian Targanski – didn’t place this time but had a great day sharing it with his family.

Lily Davies – tiny tiger category champion.

Nakita Davies – 3rd in team forms.

Emilia Targanska – 3rd in forms and 3rd in sparring.

The club trains on a ‪Monday evening at Lynnsport and on a Thursday evening‬ at Walton Highway Village Club, near Wisbech.
