Dersingham driver picks up first Honda win of 2025 at Donington Park, in Derbyshire

West Norfolk Honda racer Phil Wright achieved his first win of the 2025 season at the JDM JAM event at Donington Park, Derbyshire, in the Racing Hondas Championship on Bank Holiday Monday.

Starting second due to a penalty issued to the pole sitter, Wright took the lead on lap eight and maintained it under pressure to win the 11-lap race.

In the second race, Wright started sixth due to a reverse grid.

He advanced to fourth, setting the fastest lap before a safety car. With limited racing time after the restart, he crossed the line in fourth place.

His next race is at Tunerfest South at Brands Hatch on Sunday, June 16th.
