Twisted Melon Promotions will be holding their annual charity fundraiser in December and this year their Battle of the Bands winners for 2014 will be taking on 24 gigs in just 24 hours.

On December 12, at 9pm, Twisted Melon and Battle of the Bands winners, Addison’s Uncle, will travel across West Norfolk playing a variety of venues.

Starting at pub venues in the centre of town then continuing to perform through the early hours, the band will be visiting businesses and services that work throughout the night. The musical journey will then turn to KLFM where they will visit the Alistair Cox Saturday Morning Show.

While there, the group will grab Christmas sacks to collect presents for the KLFM toy appeal while performing at venues throughout the day when they visit the emergency services and nursing homes.

There are also a number of slots available for businesses interested and organisers are asking for a £100 donation to the KLFM Charitable Trust.

Triston Finnis, of Twisted Melon, said: “We’ll also come to one lucky household for a little bit of breakfast folk! To win this prize all you have to do is pledge something to someone in need. It doesn’t have to be something expensive or lavish, sometimes the tiniest things mean the world to someone.”

Send your pledge to triston.finnis@klfm967.co.uk

and maybe Addison’s Uncle will be performing for you at breakfast!”
