Am-dram to make comeback at Fakenham with Chicago
Following the incredible success of last year’s award-winning production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Fakenham and District Light Operatic Society (FADLOS) are currently rehearsing for a Covid-secure presentation of Chicago The Musical.
Set in the roaring 1920’s at the height of prohibition, this jazz infused spectacular combines fabulous show numbers with all the pizazz and flare FADLOS is renowned for, but in a COVID secure environment.
Those legendary characters Velma, Roxie and Billy Flynn, along with a highly-talented cast backed by a superb live band, will take the stage for the East Anglian premier of Chicago at The Fakenham Community Centre from December 8-12, performances starting at 7.30pm.
To enable social distancing and to ensure the event is Covid-secure, the audience must wear face coverings and will be seated at tables in a classic cabaret club format. Tables can only seat four, five or six people, and tickets are £10 per head (minimum four tickets).
Tables may only be booked at the FADLOS box office, which is open from November 16 on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Fakenham Community Centre between 7.30-8.30pm.
