Performing arts group Melody All Sorts in Downham Market to hold debut pantomime in January




A performing arts group in Downham that aims to support people with anxiety and hidden disabilities is set to debut its first pantomime in January.

Melody All Sorts of Downham – also known as MAD – will be taking to the stage at Downham Town Hall and “bursting into life” with their take on Alice in Wonderland.

The amateur dramatics group aims to support people with hidden disabilities through performing and singing while helping to boost performers’ confidence.

In this pantomime, the audience can expect to join Alice and her “very excitable” Nanny as they follow the White Rabbit into Wonderland while facing challenges from the Red Queen.

Performances take place on Thursday , anuary 11 at 7.30pm, Friday, January 12 at 7.30pm, Saturday, January 13 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm and Sunday, January 14 at 2.30pm.

Tickets are available at No8 The Old Book Shop, Downham or book online.
