King's Lynn animator celebrates a decade of character
Lynn animator Ian Harding is celebrating a decade of Zey the Mouse.
Episode eight is in the making this year and the brand new episode is called Zey's Dream.
The storyline has influences from the film Labrynth, the fairytale Hansel and Gretel, The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe, and the classic Alice in Wonderland.
Mr Harding said: "The past few months I have been making props by hand including a new castle, wardrobe, genie lamp, chocolate, ginger bread man, sweets and new outfits."
In episode eight clay animation Zey is asleep in bed, and has a dream that he would like to be a prince and he goes into a dark castle, finding a glowing genie lamp,
Bella Bunny, who appeared once in episode two, The Prize Hat, materialises as a genie, thus Zey embarks on a journey with her.
Through different scenes the characters find a prince's outfit in a wardrobe, eat part of a gingerbread house, go through a magic mirror and encounter talking doors.
Mr Harding said: "Last year's episode The Time Machine was the most commented and liked episode so far on my YouTube channel which in the past 12 months has soared.
"With so much support from viewers around the world, which is heart warming and touching, years later it's privilege to still be creating Zey The Mouse as he and his friends are now ten years old early January this year."
