Heacham musician Damian Carruthers’ band Rane's new single ‘A Light Within My Heart’ out Friday, December 9 has all profits going to Marie Curie charity

Heacham musician Damian Carruthers' indie/pop/rock band Rane will be released their new single 'A Light Within My Heart' next Friday, December 9 with all profits going to Marie Curie.

Damian said: "We were so lucky to be sponsored on this by Kerri's company, it wouldn't have been possible without them."

The Norfolk based group formed in the summer of 2020.

Damian continued: "In 2021 we were asked by Marie Curie UK to create a song and video for them to represent the charity for East Anglia, they were so impressed with last year's effort that they decided to ask us this year to represent them nationally.

"The song will be used as part of their National Lights Remembrance Service and will also be released as a single by us on December 9th with all profits going to Marie Curie."

The track was produced by Jack Murphy at Crystal Sound Studios.

Soon after forming in 2020 they released their debut single - 'Strong Soldier'. The track got the band noticed and was well received through radio and press, generating coverage on an international scale.
