King's Lynn Pandora Project annual ball postponed until 2024 due to cost of living crisis
A ball to raise funds for the Pandora Project domestic abuse charity has been put back to next year.
The annual black-tie event was held last year at the Duke's Head hotel on Tuesday Market Place, raising thousands for the charity that helps women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.
With a three-course meal, entertainment, an auction and music the event was due to happen again in May at a different venue, Knights Hill, but due to lower ticket sales, apportioned to the cost of living crisis, it has been postponed until 2024.
A spokesperson said: “We have decided to postpone our charity ball this year, the cost-of-living crisis is hitting us all.
"Our charity ball next year on Saturday, May 18 will be a spectacular event, raising money for Pandora Project and raising awareness of domestic abuse.
"Keep checking back here for updates and details of ticket sales.
"Thank you to everyone who has continued to support us, and we look forward to seeing you soon."
