Thornham hosts art exhibition with hundreds of visitors
An annual exhibition hosted at Thornham Village Hall at the weekend by a group of artists who meet every week in Dersingham was well attended with visitors.
The group Art 21 continued to meet online during the pandemic and faced disappointment of postponements and cancellations over the last 18 months.
With a variety of artwork consisting of both traditional and contemporary subjects in different mediums, including watercolours, oils, acrylics, mosaics and silks a successful exhibition resulted in the private sales of 14 pieces of work.
Helena Anderson, a member of Art 21 said: "It went amazingly and all fell into place beautifully. It was as good an exhibition we have ever put on with more than 300 visitors.
"We were thrilled that visitors were really taking the time to look at each thing and discussing it. Many said that the standard and variety of work was extremely high."
