David Cholmondeley, 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, and scion of Houghton Hall, said that although the art exhibition he has mounted may seem challenging to some he is convinced that everyone – including children – will take delight from the works in the Lightscape.
He said: Following the huge success of Turrell’s recent shows around the world, I am confident that our exhibition – the first of this scale in the UK for many years – will attract a wide and varied audience and that it will become one of the sensations of the arts calendar in 2015.”
