Authors to visit King's Lynn

Two authors will be visiting the town in August for an event that will take place at the Duke's Head Hotel.

The event Digging for Stories will feature popular writers Elly Griffiths and Francis Pryor in conversation.

Tim Callaghan, events co-ordinator at Waterstones, said: "Elly Griffiths and Francis Pryor are always massive draws in Lynn, most of their work being based locally. Previous events with them have been really successful."

Elly Griffiths, author of The Locked Room, hosted a book signing at Waterstones in Norfolk Street in February and many fans queued up outside in order to meet her.

Francis Pryor penned the book Scenes From Pre-historic Life.

Tickets for the event are available to buy in advance and the authors will be present between 11am and 1pm on Wednesday, August 10.
