Heat 5 of the Twisted Melon Battle Of the Bands is being held on Saturday, March 14, at the King William in Terrington St Clement.

As usual the event has free entry and all ages are welcome, with the competition starting at 7.30pm.

Triston Finnis of Twisted Melon says: “This will be our third visit this great village venue and it is a fully acoustic heat consisting of two duo acts and two solo acts.

“It’s also an evening of girl power with the dreadlocked Keiran Jordon of Hand Drawn By Crayons the only male act of the evening.”

Here’s the line-up for this fifth round event:

Aria’s Echo

Georgia and Maddi Dawson are an Indie/Folk acoustic duo from King’s Lynn. Formerly Funky Little Folk, they kind of outgrew that name and became Aria’s Echo. They produce a haunting heady mix of amazing harmonised vocals with guitar and mandolin.

Hand Drawn By Crayons

Keiran Jordan is not your average singer/songwriter. He claims he’s not fussed about his appearance and frankly, shoes hold him back. For him it’s about feeling the music, the passion and having a blast with his audience.

Sallie & Daisy

Sallie Ann Pottle and Daisy Ann Lewis are an acoustic singer songwriting duo who perform their own songs as well as their unique take on popular covers. Hailing from Terrington St Clement they’ll be the act with the home crowd this Saturday.

Amy Palmer

Amy is also part of the acoustic band with Ryan Hall called The Legacy, Amy who attends Springwood High School in King’s Lynn started to sing at the age of seven, She then went on to learn the guitar with Jazz and now still plays with Tommy Loose, She also learns piano with Sofia Ezequiel, She has played many gigs on her own and part of a band and duo alongside Ryan; Amy opened up the Jazz Ball Charity Fest with the band Notorious 4 and many more.
