Wiggenhall St Germans St Mary’s open gardens and flower festival promises blaze of colour at annual event

There will be a floral theme to activities in the Wiggenhalls this weekend.

Hard work by green-fingered residents in St Germans and neighbouring St Mary's will be on show when they open their gardens on Sunday.

And St Germans’ parish church will be a blaze of colour from the annual flower festival over both days.

Visitors are invited to step through the gates of more than a dozen gardens between 11am and 5pm.

The organisers promise the gardens will vary in size and design and that they will all be colourful and immaculate.

Admission to the gardens is by programme/map, available at the gardens and from St. Germans’ Church for £5 per adult (accompanied children free).

Refreshments will be available at the church from noon-4pm.

Proceeds will go to the church restoration fund.
