Christmas coming early to King's Lynn Museum

Christmas is coming early to Lynn Museum as staff gear up for the festive period with a programme of exciting events.

First, on Thursday at 4pm, museum learning assistant Hayley Simmons will be hosting the last afternoon talk of the year: ‘Medieval Christmas: Feasts and Laughter’. Talk tickets are £3 per person and advanced booking is recommended via norfolk-museums.arttickets.org.uk/lynn-museum.

On Saturday, December 3, 10am-4pm, Father Christmas will be paying a visit to a traditional Victorian Christmas.

There will also be a free trail called ‘The Scents of Christmas’ running from December 3 onwards, challenging families to find and identify a range of festive smells, in order to win a small prize.
