Holkham Christmas market returns this weekend in Lady Elizabeth Wing

The popular Holkham Christmas market returns this weekend in the Lady Elizabeth Wing.

The estate hosts the event Saturday and Sunday, December 10 and 11, 10am-4pm, and will see the best local producers showcasing their seasonal food, drink and gifts.

Entry to the event is free. It is perfect for some Christmas shopping or well-deserved treats for yourself.

Soak up the season’s bounty with food, drink and gifts galore at the stately home.

There will be dozens of local producers, businesses and food and drink stalls represented.

Their stalls will be offering everything from gluten free fudge, skincare, items for home and garden, cream cheeses, handmade Norfolk cookies, honey and hive products, dog treats, handmade sterling silver jewellery and much more.

New for 2022 is that shoppers can enjoy live music as they browse the stalls, before heading to a street food court to tickle their taste-buds.

The live music takes place both tomorrow and Sunday from the likes of Fakenham Town Band – playing 10.30am-12.30pm; and Nelson’s Shantymen – playing 1pm-2pm and 3pm-4pm.

You can stop for lunch at the Courtyard Café or tuck into fare from seven different independent food providers.

If you are coming by car a £5 parking charge applies in Holkham Park, redeemable with a £30 spend in the gift shop.

This event takes place both inside the Lady Elizabeth Wing and outside in the courtyard – so take care to dress for the weather.

Dogs on leads are welcome in most areas but not inside the Lady Elizabeth Wing itself.
