King’s Lynn Community Cinema Club putting on illustrated talk at Ferry Lane Social Club

A cinema club is hosting a talk which promises to provide an entertaining night.

Lynn Community Cinema Club (KLCCC) will be holding the illustrated talk on Thursday, September 26 at Ferry Lane Social Club.

The venue will play host to an evening with Nigel Herwin, who will be presenting ‘Another Fine Dress – Drag on Film’.

With cross-dressing always being a feature of cinema, subverting gender roles and pushing at the boundaries of censorship, this sparkling session will look at some of the most famous examples of drag on film, including Danny La Rue on Cromer Pier.

This talk will start at 7.30pm, but people are invited to visit Tracey’s bar beforehand.

Tickets are £5 cash for KLCCC members and £6 for non-members. This is payable on the door and there is no need to book.
