Classic cars are in King's Lynn's Tuesday Market Place
Heritage Open Day is not the only event happening in Lynn on Sunday.
For petrolheads there is also its associated event, Classic Car Day.
This is in Tuesday Market Place betwen 10am and 4pm. It is free to attend and those arriving will find scores of wonderful old motor car to admire.
Once you have looked around the cars feel free to head underground to see the World War II air raid shelters that lie underneath Tuesday Market Pace.
This is always one of the most popular attractions at the Heritage Open Days so be prepared to queue.
These forgotten air raid shelters were rediscovered during upgrading of the market place a few years ago. The stewards are from Bridge for Heroes and any donations go towards their work with veterans suffering mental issues.
Also in Tuesday Market Place numbers 11-12 are open to the public and King’s Lynn Time Machine project will be found here. This is the new website dedicated to Lynn’s history.
At No19, Hawkins Ryan solicitors is open. A fine late 18th-century house of five bays and two storeys, it will feature art throughout from artist Andy Williams.
