Gardeners in Boughton are this week making the final preparations for a special Open Gardens day in the village on Sunday – and keeping fingers crossed for good weather.
Between 12 and 5pm, various gardens around the village will be open for viewing and the cost of ticket is just £4 per adult.
All profits will be for All Saints’ Church at Boughton and there will also be a small activity in aid of Boughton Children’s playground. Plants and garden-related items will be for sale and there will also be a tombola.
Lunches will be available in the re-ordered church and community space, and teas will also be served.
Dogs on leads are welcome for this event and there is parking round the pond and at the surgery. For any further information call Pam Wakeling on 01366 500429.
