BBC Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer in Prima Facie at Fincham Memorial Hall in National Theatre Live Encore screening thanks to Lottery and King's Lynn borough council
Fincham Memorial Hall is the latest local addition to the National Theatre Live Encore screenings programme and will be kicking off the programme by screening Prima Facie, starring Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer on Saturday, October 8 (doors open 7pm, starts 7.45pm).
Thanks to the recently awarded National Lottery Community Fund and the borough council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk Small Grants Scheme, a new state of the art four-metre screen and surround sound cinema equipment has been installed along with new comfy chairs, enabling the Memorial Hall to sign up to the National Theatre screening programme.
Committing to screening the full programme this year, local residents will be treated to a diverse programme of around 10 performances in the next 12 months, bringing a new dimension to the already full calendar of events taking place in Fincham, which include regular bingo, quiz nights, fitness, pilates, film nights, Fincham Chorus and Zumba.
Chairman, Joe Underhill, said: “By supporting these events you will help us achieve our plans for the hall and enjoy good entertainment from the National Theatre and film nights.”
Future performances have already been scheduled which include Saturday, November 12 for Much Ado About Nothing and Saturday, December 17 for Jack Absolute Flies Again.
Everyone is welcome to come along, there will be a licensed bar and you can even book tickets in advance to secure your seat.
