King's Lynn students concert will raise funds for Costa Rica project
Louis Pitcher, aged 15, and and Isaac Mayes, 16, students at Springwood High School, are staging a concert tomorrow (Thursday, January 23) to raise money to help with a project in central America.
The pair are raising money for a four-week expedition to Costa Rica, where they will be helping local communities to build sanitation blocks, homes and toilets.
They also hope to battle against the deforestation by replanting trees which will help to reform habitats for the wildlife.
The trip is being organised by Camps International, which organises ethical journeys, without compromise.
There will be three bands performing on Thursday, in the main theatre at the College of West Anglia in Lynn.
The Kicking Dolls will kick things off at 6.30pm (Emily, Jade, Alfie, Rosie, Tyler and Indie).
Then their very own CWA band Kartofel (Harry Chandler, Patrick Gray, Ryan Kerrison, Alex Herbert and Jake Webb).
Then headlining will be Louis and Isaac’s band Post Pending (Jade, Louis, Isaac and Arushan). The band members range in age fro 12-18-years-old.
Doors to the concert open at 6pm and all tickets will be sold on the door, costing £5.
